Dilly

Adult – Male – Cockatiel

Dilly is one of the cockatiels from the Spice Birds transport! He is a pretty gentle bird. He’s never bitten hard, just little pecks when he’s not in the mood. He likes to be petted, we usually employ the one finger method and he very conveniently rotates his head to get a full scull coverage. He’ll jump on a hand if he sees seeds in it. This helps get him out of the cage for he’s not always brave enough to do it on his own. We let him out in a smaller room and he can fly around a few circles at a time. Dilly is still suspicious of veggies and sprouts, but we’re working on it!
